Ontario | We are getting close to turning out the bulls into our fall calving group. Obviously the tighter calving period the better. The group is about 45 cows. We have 4 bulls from our spring program that really aren't doing anything right now. Two are mature bulls, one smaller framed two year old, and a yearling. The 45 is too many for one to cover, especially then I have 4 sitting around. Do I put two out, three out, all four? The one mature and the two year old were together this spring without issue. What do you guys recommend? | |
