| What are you hearing for the price of 28%N in cks? We have been quoted .66/lb, but I am hearing that prices could come down in Jan- Feb.
Milo planting drill vs planter? In notil farmimg, which do you prefer. planting with a notil drill or 30" row planter? We currently plant with a notil JD air drill in 15" rows putting dry starter fertilizer down with the seed, and 100lbs of urea in between the planted rows. Not really satisfied with the milo stand this way, but a good way to get all the fertilizer on with one pass. Thinking of switching to notil 30" planting putting a starter fertilizer down with the seed, and dribbling the rest of the fertilizer on with sprayer. Might also sidedress after emergence. How does it work best for you milo farmers? Thanks | |
