Dad wanted to get some cover crops planted on some new wildlife plots he has under the power lines. I figured it would be a great time to give annual ryegrass another shot(test plot), as well as this tillage radish I've heard rumors about from some dude named 'Groff'.

Got the ole seeder out that my Gandpappy bought way before my time. Last time this got used was by some reckless kid (myself), who had to spread cover crops on a few hundred P.I.C. acres in '83. Although, I used the super M at that time. I had to replace the 6 volt spinner motor with a new $30 12 volt model. Other than that, it ran fine.

I know, I know! I'm going to catch some flak over the appearance of my M. It is a working tractor though. It does 100% of my grain augering(both in & out), along with other misc jobs.  I rarely have time to take it out of commission to get some TLC. I DO have a new muffler to change out the old leaky one, and  the oil leak is just a drip coming from the oil pressure regulator/oil line fitting. I've tried fixing that a couple of times. Looks like I need to replace.

I spread the tillage radishes first, then the annual ryegrass. Obviously I had to use narrower swaths with the light ryegrass seed.

My plan is to use a plank-then-log-chain drag to get the seed covered.
