If your machine needs paddles consider adding these bolt on covers to them to protect the plastic paddles.

These covers fit John Deere® part numbers H221045 and H221044.Do not attach galvanized steel cover plates to used tailboard spreaders.

Easy to install uses 1/4” bolts. Set the plate on top of the plastic spinners and use a clamp to hold it tight, then drill though the plastic spinners using the plate as a guide install bolts and it’s complete!
