The two rears aired right up without doing anything.  I don't do the explosion thing but have used a few other tricks.  A clamp or ratchet strap around the tire. I also have a bucket of tire goop that works for sealing to get aired up. Have also laid those small tires on a bucket and plug the center axle hole with a paper towel. That would hold enough air pressure for the tire to pop out and seal.
