That pivot is 26 years old. That is a recap truck tire. It'll last forever unlike the new junk they put on now. We are blessed with good water. No one has ever rusted out a galvanized pivot here unless it has had something harmfull pumped through it. We run more than 2000 hours a year too. Valley has a repipe program. I'll bet Zimmatic has something simular.
