Beresford, SD | Just do it, I calved out too many feedlot heifers in my lifetime to deal with those issues when it's avoidable. (900 pound black butter ball with a pair of white stockings sticking out of her ass gives the stomach a sinking feeling) Calving my bred heifers has been a dream in comparison. Last year I started with 65 potential heifers to bred. Vet kicked 6 of them out due to not "ideal" pelvic measurements, 3 more were kicked out due to being hard or non breeders. I have no clue what his hand is feeling in there, I just took his word for it. | |
