NW Iowa | Hypothetically, if you had $0 in your pocket, and wanted to start raising pairs, what would you do? Assume you have grass to run on, good fence, some yards, no equipment or feed...graze stalks in the fall/winter. There is no right answer....I don't think...
Edit to add...assume the $0 is farm equity, you have money to live on via a town job, or some other avenue that people that live in town do...so you're not banking on cows to make mortgage payments or buy food with...bank loans available. I'm just interested in your answers...usually see the questions about trying to start crop farming from scratch, but not so much livestock...and I've got cows :)
