Madison Co. Virginia | I installed a sport dog fence here. Has been fine, except the wire was not up to snuff. The kit came with 500 feet of wire, but needed about 2000 feet more, so bought some cheaper heavier gauge no-name stuff from Amazon. That heavier gauge has held up fine, but the original 500 feet corroded inside the insulation and needed to be replaced. I think the gauge of the two wires was 22 vs 18 gauge iirc. | |
