Don't live beyond your financial means. Living in a $10,000 dollar mobile home, driving a beater and having money is better than living in a $250,000 dollar house with two new cars and fighting over finances every day and working 7 days a week to achieve it.

Number one reason for divorce is financial fights and disagreements. Debt is a huge contributor.
Nothing wrong with spending money if you have it, and can agree on how to handle it. But in many cases it takes precedence over the marriage.
