I prefer a good Stout or Porter, dark and heavy like my women! National beers include Guiness, Michelob Amber Bock, Coors when available but go to is Coors Light. Yes, I know, not really dark and heavy. Local craft brewed favorites include Pearl St. Brewery's Java Lava and Downtown Brown, and Sand Creek Brewing's very limited Oderboltz and an unnamed stout aged in Bourbon barrels. The last is probably the best beer I ever had but they have not made it since an initial experimental run.

A few years back I spent the night in Stevens Point and had a Point Amber Classic that I thought was extraordinarily good. I need to bootleg some of it back to Texas.

Going to the farm show? I know a semi trailer with a pull tractor heading down there I could throw a pallet on if you's like! ;)
