We have 3-M window film on a west facing window that gets lots of wind. Lasted three months and then came off when we had wind gusts of 30+ mph. We reattached it and it has stayed on and has made a big difference in how much air gets in but we will have the window replaced this spring. The 3-M film is not difficult to attach, comes with special tape and can be bought through Amazon.
