Subject: RE: Blowing in cellulose insulation in a 100 year old house

west central Iowa
The first house we remodeled we did blow in in the walls and attic. We redid the inside of the house first, put new sheetrock over the plaster except in the kitchen where the old plaster was uneven and we tore it off and put new sheetrock over the old lath. We put in suspended ceilings. When we did the blow in in the kitchen we forgot the sheetrock didn't cover all the wall above ceiling. So we blew a lot into the kitchen before we noticed.
