| First time we went there, took a Caravan tour. Great way to see the country without having to drive. It is a country, and not an island. Is not easy to take it in all in one trip. The Caribbean coast is quite different than the pacific coast. Caribbean wetter and greener this time of year. Guanacaste is very hot and dry this time of year. The central part of the country is cooler and more mountainous, volcanic. It is a great country with great people, plenty to do and see, but do your homework and tailor your trip to what you like | |
