We used to scrape cow alleys with a JD 420w. The quickest way to turn the thing around in a tight space was to spin it in reverse. Cut the wheels hard right, stomp on the right brake, and then while the front was traveling sideways fast, swing the steering wheel back to center. This caused the front end to loose traction, and brought the tractor around 180 degrees as nice as you please. | |
