Apart from the humor: sometime (early 80's ??), I read in Reader's Digest that all of the scandanavian countries had indeed made it a point of law that car lights were to be on AT ALL TIMES.,WHEN ON THE ROAD< BEING OPERATED BY A HUMAN. Subsequently they found that auto accidents went down 40%. Most of the time, I have my lights on.
