I went with Family Tree DNA because I wanted to do Y-DNA testing and Ancestry doesn't do that anymore. FTDNA will do Y, autosomal, and mitochondrial all from the same sample. They don't have quite the database as Ancestry for autosomal, but nearly so. You will find that some companies will allow you to import data from another site so you can find matches in multiple places. | |
