Yeah, the loader tractor was pulling the plow tractor to help with traction back in the day. So two guys got to freeze pulling that 2 furrow plow.
Omar and "here" corn harvest seldom started before November , guys pulling a 1 or 2 row New Idea picker and small hopper box -- always cold & wet---middle 1960's neighbor was picking Dad's corn and just about done and getting dark, he gets end of finger taken off in picker but stays too finish field before going too hospital as he says "I am frozen enough already I finger doesn't hurt"....kept finger in glove....things you remeber from childhood
