North Central Oregon | Davis does stand behind their products. I have sent 2 stations in for their $130 refurb/repair program. I had a station that had been up for years, had a similar problem with the anemometer. Also the solar panel was getting pretty clouded. Got a fully refurbished station back. They also replaced the solar panels, tipping bucket rain sensor, put in a new capacitor, new battery, new anemometer. It was like getting a new system. Buying parts it would have been well over $200. The second was a non-functional Wireless Davis Vantage pro2 system that I bought for $50. Got it back fully refurbed as well, have it as a remote station.
