Idaho | We get rust and sediment in our water and the previous owners just installed an inline filter. We live out in the country and have a 400' deep well. I change filters about once a month. Immediately it just turns brown from the rust when a new filter is put in. Our outside faucets which are not filtered don't have a noticeable rust color but have lots of sediment. So much sediment that I don't fill water for my sprayer from my place anymore.
We have low water flow so we have cistern which was put in around 10 years ago. So we have poly line except for about 30' of steel where it goes into the house. | |
