North Central Illinois | Just this morning I came across an article from clear back in 2005 about a guy who won the Poweball in 2002. He was from some little impoverished town in I think West Virginia. He actually owned a successful construction company so he was already better off than most of the people around him. He won a $315 million Powerball which I think netted him somewhere in the neighborhood of $120 million. Anyway he did everything they tell you not to do and ruined the lives of his family and countless other people. The article didn’t specifically say if the money was all gone but I assume it was. Of course the article was written 13 years ago so I’m sure the money is long gone and so is he probably. It was a very sad article. | |
