The whole lease thing is something that I've struggled with. It's foolish to leave the money on the table but bringing in young hunters who otherwise would be excluded from hunting and might grow anti farmer, landowner if not for the opportunities I've given them. The stupid stuff hunters do is bad enough but to have a situation where they could stuff a contract in your face and say "I can too!" VS giving them the boot makes those dollars somehow less inviting. |
