Rivers, MB | We had an older Suzuki ATV that we used for all the really nasty jobs. Draining water in fields, lighting grass areas/sloughs in fall, picking a few rocks after seeding.
Mid December one year, dad or brother commented they hadn’t seen the old quad for a while. Wasn’t in its usual spot in the shed. Started walking backwards who used it last. Dad said he had used it back in mid October burning a few sloughs while doing some dozer work on a hilly quarter we had.
Sure enough. There it was. Middle of the quarter. Keys still in it.
Sold it. Realized if we didn’t notice it gone for 2 months, probably wasn’t needed that badly. | |
