This isn't China/US trade. There specific laws regarding contracts and that's why every contract has lots of words detailing what is expected of both parties. Walking away because the price is bad isn't an option (you would win easily in court and get a payday). Guys are sitting in jail because of messing around with contracts. Of course, this is mute because the elevator simply (or maybe not so simply) covers the risk on the CME.
