Just remember while the yields are pretty good so far on Illinois corn you are only hearing the really good ones. No one talks about the poor yields. I know plenty of guys that inflate their yields about 10% give or take. Talked with a gentleman yesterday that is averaging 320 right now. Hasn't calibrated his monitor since it was new 10 years ago but if the monitor says it, it must be true.
