| There has already been opportunities to sell $4 cash Corn in our area and $10 cash Soybeans. I have not been that smart.
However, I did sell 1/2 2018 APH at decent prices. Why would I risk losing those forward sales following the past 3 or 4 years of the same pattern???
Put on an .82.5 cent certain Soybean subsidy and a good chance at another 82.5 cents later and this will likely be the best grain year for me in a long time. Might be a nice RP insurance pay-out on grains as well due to high spring prices as well.
Every year is different. I will bin the remainder crops and my best guess is that 2019 will work out well again to sell those. China will need grains. I very well may follow Dan Smith's purchase paper grain following Harvest selling pressure. I suspect that will work out good this year.
Hope this does not come across as arrogance, but this year has had a lot of selling opportuties as far as I am concerned. Am I the only guy thinking this way?? .
