I agree with others we expose our heifers 45 days and then preg as soon as we can. Everything not bred goes to town no questions asked. I also will not keep a heifer that loses her first calf. BTDT got the t shirt and am still sore from the beating I took learning that lesson. $1200 sounds like a win win win better jump aboard that train.
