Missouri | Maybe not the numbers you probably wanted, but sure not as bad as some I've heard. I just dont think the cattle were ready to be bred this spring. Mother nature sure threw a wrench at us this year.
Local genetics company knew it was going to be a bad spring when guys who normally bring in groups of recips with 90-100% standing heats observed were hauling in groups with 40-50% of their heats observed. Most of the other half showed a decent cl on the screen that should take an egg on a normal year, but they never went into a heat that you could observe. I'm scared to even check mine, but sure need to get them off the feed bill asap.
