Tomball,Texas | Take the four bolts out that hold the disc on,then you will see the four bolts that bolt the hub to the cutter bar,take those for bolts out tap on it to break it loose.The center of the hub is offset a little and when you rotate it about 180 degrees it’s driven by a different gear that’s turning the opposite direction,you need to make sure you have it clocked right so the disks won’t hit each other.You do not need to remove the big bolt that holds the shear hub on.Make sure to clean it real good around the hub before you lift it because you are opening up the cutter bar and don’t want to get dirt in it. | |
