Normal rainfall here is about 26", spread fairly even throughout the year. We have a mild winter in this area, no snow and days warm enough that we can grow crops and pastures year round. This year we had 2" in January and then 2" in the next 6 months, all in small falls that barely lay the dust.

I grow Eurabbie oats (probably just an Australian variety), good forage production and good oat grain if I want to harvest and feed to cattle.
