See people post a lot of cow pics so here are mine.
Here are pics of my cows with this years calf crop all born between May 12 and June 13th.
I started herd in 2011 with 5 bred Angus/ Sim/ Limousin cross cull cows from a friend for slaughter price. Originals have all gone as they were 10 or older when I got them and on way out. Last one just left last winter. Have kept heifers except for last 2 years. I bred original 5 back to Hereford and am up to 11 cows now. With the majority 2nd calf up to 5th calf got lucky had more calves than cows 2 years in a row and 75 percent heifers so good growth model. I am thinking just pure luck.
So my cows the 2 all black are the cross mentioned above and everything else has a Hereford sire. So that is why thinking the black Hereford on some and just Hereford on rest. Hopefully end up with some really nice black baldies and a few red ones. Hope I didn't bore you with too many details.
