A combination of several things: expanding with good young cows, heavily culling older cows with problems, and we'll see how the hay supply looks as far as selling bred heifers. I hate to sell good bred heifers! Too much work getting them to that point to sell. I question whether many folks would really pay what I would calculate as a profitable "bred heifer" selling price.  I'd rather sell large, older, poor udder cull cows at the Bloomington slaughter sale.
