I'm really wanting a mixer that can hold
2k of cornstalks
4k wdg
3k silage
And some corn to be around 10k total
I'm guessing I really need a huge double screw. Which if this new mixer were going to the cow farm I'd be ok with but it's going to a farm where more backgrounding and finishing takes place than cow feeding and I can't see mixing finishing rations with a 800cuft twin screw. So maybe we'll settle for a 700 reel and mix half batches | |
