WC Iowa | Well Fry, my organic experience tells me that after a few years of farming organic you will really love it or really hate it. The ones I know who do a great job grow to enjoy the challenge of mechanical weed control and of learning to use certain crops to set up the environment for growing better following crops. Your children will probably help teach you the patience needed for good organic farming because organic does not have the quick fixes like spraying conventional crops do. In summary, organic farming is a lot like charting. It requires people who can look at things in a different way. And like charting it takes time to learn and you never know it all. | |
