NW Indiana | He was pretty good (maybe lucky) last couple years and it’s gone to his head. Tires to out think the models to much and put out an off the wall forecast. Totally missed June precip and probably July. Last year would say I’m not in the business of predicting yield now all he does is reread stuff from an agronomist or google or something about high night time temps robbing yield. Stuff all farmers know and he sounds like an idiot babbling his way through it. Well I thought you didn’t care about yield? Just trying to justify his forecast. While partly correct about high night temps it’s not a crop killer just takes the top end off. And yea today he said all models are cool next week he’s been saying all along they are wrong. Well if they are still cool Thursday he’ll change his tune he said. About lost all confidence in his abilities. | |
