Well in this part of the country it definitely can regardless if you believe it or not.
I believe it! Was raised as a kid in Allen County KS. Family moved to MO when 15. People in the good areas of IA and IL don't understand that we have 6-11 inches of top soil not 6 to 11 feet! How many times does it get to 100 in north IA, northern IL,and MN, except for maybe this year!
