Northwest Missouri | I'm right on the edge of yellow and orange, and the colors should be darker. No one was feeding hay here this early in 2012. In the orange areas there is no grass left at all. I'd say in many places its already worse than 2012 and looks to get worse. If the rest of July is like it has been for the last two weeks then there's gonna be a bunch of corn chopped cause there sure isn't any hay, and what corn is left isn't gonna be very good. Beans will still be alive to see what August brings. Pretty depressing. | |
