Central ND
in order to make that new shiny machinery pencil out you need to spread it across more acres so the dollars per acre for machinery doesn't look so bad at the bank, right? That is the way it seems that some people think just add more and more acres trying to hit that home run some year to get out of the hole. Personally I am tired of working for a break even but making my payments, living comfortably, it could be worse. Call me crazy I am a little optimistic about this year at least we have been blessed with moisture this year and looks like a good crop and did some selling ahead. Last year was tough with the drought and low prices. At least when you get the bushels put them in the bin and wait for something to happen and get a rally and don't be greedy, kind of tired of all the doom and gloom on NAT. My two cents. thanks.
