| Well, let me be the first then....what about an early frost! It seems to me like we are grasping for any little thing we can.
For what its worth, Weatherbell has been suggesting for at least a month that the first few weeks of July would be hot, but they expect a cooler end of the month, and a cooler August. Also there is a tendency with a modoki El Nino to have cooler late summers and early falls/winters. So, the heat might be the perfect thing for a record. Push the crop along to tassle, then cool off for grain fill. Not that it really matters anyway.
