Kinda surprised that no one mentioned the storm that started in central Nebraska and blew threw Iowa and is now into western Illinois. It went just to the north of our farm but we had probably 60 - 70 mph wind. Haven't checked for green snap yet been at work but talked to one's in the direct path and they figure 60% green snap. Corn would have tasseled next week so it was brittle. Pivots blown over grain bins blown in and trees and powerlines down. Three miles to the north of us recorded 80 mph winds.
