I will give my two cents worth. Life is much more complicated then years ago. If you worked hard watch your dollars you made a living. I know guys who did that and still couldn't make a living farming today. Went to farm auction this past March were a guy lost all his ground(rented) because all three owners all died the same month. Ground all got sold.
