| My daughter just lost a tooth. We just left a buck, but she's only four and doesn't really value cash yet.
I used a storybook website (Tooth Fairy Guild) to make it more special. You personalize the story, which has a downloadable certificate. We read the story at bedtime, and she found the certificate in the morning.
It was very cute, and I got it on video to send to grand ma.
