I would never ride on country rides around my farm, way to dangerous. I go to bike trails where there are no cars and it's quiet and relaxing. As far as their legal rights, they are 100% right in that they have a right to the road, but remember the saying, " You can be dead right". It only takes one idiot passing another and not seeing the bikes, especially passing farm equipment. I've seen way to many close calls when I drive my equipment around.
That’s probably where I disagree. Mentioned above how farm equipment doesn’t pay taxes but they can’t use the interstates either. Bikes should be no different. Busy roads with over so many cars no stupid bikes.
Should have took a pic of the ahole riding west at dusk on our busiest road on this side of the county. He had no business on the road. |
