15 year anniversary coming up in early '19 and we are both turning 40 on either side of the anniversary date.  We've never been away for more than 1 night since we had our first child 13 years ago, and with our youngest having all the complications he has, leaving the country or a long stay are out of the question.  She's just about maxed us out at leaving on say, a Thursday and coming home on sunday night.  She deserves something nicer than a trip to Cincy or something we would normally do.  She's a beacher, and this will likely happen in early December so will have to fly to get to warmth if we go that route.  Been almost 20 years since I've been to the Keys, so don't really know anything about places to stay and whatnot.  Have been looking at Parrot Key, reviews seem good, renovations from Irma taking place now so it would be like new this winter.  Anyone with any experience there or others in the area?  Anywhere else stateside, warm in December and sandy might work as well.  Not partiers, don't need access to any sort of real nightlife, some cold beverages available beachside and good food within easy distance are the only requirement outside of a nice place to stay.  Cheap flights are always a plus too.. not that there is any such thing anymore.
