Buckeye Lake, OH | It wouldn't surprise me if they are different. After being in a suspension test group at an automotive OEM I would have more comfortable and smoother ride on a GMC than the Chevy. Springs, dampers, bushings is what I would change.
It also wouldn't surprise me if you can bolt parts from either in. I wouldn't recommend mixing parts as it is made as a system that is made to work together. You have the possibility to make an unsafe handling vehicle mixing parts.
That is my opinion. I haven't worked on them but it wouldn't surprise me if some is true. | |
