EC-C-MO | Few years back something must have spooked a blue heron in the night, took flight into the darkness and ended up landing on the roof of the house under the security light. The overhang shades all the windows and doors. Not knowing the bird's on the roof, I stepped out for a bit. As soon as the top of my shining head glowed in the light, bird lets out this loud horrific sound, then flapping wings appeared and off it went to scare the next unsuspecting fellow. Can't remember whether it was a squawk or screech. | |
