nw/nc iowa on the banks of West Buttrick Creek.. | I lost two great uncles in France during WWI, Franz and Joesph Geisler. A memorial to them is at their family church then Germany now Poland. My Great grandfather lost two sons to WWI and "lost" another son to emigration to the US. My GGrandfather died 25 years before I was born. It make me wonder IF he was a very bitter man, considering all his loses. |
