Subject: RE: creative writing

I have a blog where I write because I enjoy it. There is something special about putting thoughts and our days into words, sharing stories...
I do think it makes us more mindful and appreciate each day a bit more.

I also do a bit of freelance writing. Mostly for ag magazines but also a few companies. My articles have been published in Sheep, The Shepherd, ACRES USA, Stockman Grass Farmer and on line for On Pasture and Gallagher Animal Managements facebook page. The articles tend to be more educational like this one

but sometimes I get more freedom to be more creative and then I can write something like this -

If I can figure out a way to make the article enjoyable, entertaining, inspiring and educational I try to do that. I would love to find opportunities to do more creative agricultural writing but as of yet have not run across publications that include much of that.

Thanks for asking, hope you enjoy them
