I forgot - chocolate is a killer for me in starting reflux. Dark chocolate especially. A piece the size of a postage stamp can start a reflux episode that will force me to take a Dexilant tomorrow.

I eliminated it along with candy/sugar. I was never a huge fan of chocolate - OK, maybe I'd have some milk chocolate from time to time. Now, at most, it changes what kinds of cake I might eat.  No chocolate cake w/ chocolate frosting, for example.
