West Texas | The pain got so bad that I couldn't hardly go. Dr said it was sciatica nerve pain and while he could give me a boatload of pain killers, he wanted me to try something else and he gave me a Rx for Methocarbamol, a muscle relaxant. After taking it for about a month, I quit taking it on a daily basis and only take it now when the pain flares up. I am aware of the tightness at all times but the pain is controlled and is just more of an ache than a pain. Sure seems like the aches and pains are doubling up in my senior years. I was talking to an old man (5 months older than me) yesterday and we both agreed that old age wasn't for sissies. |
